ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer) or PC (polycarbonate) and other engineering plastics, because of its good impact strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance and easy processing. The specific selection should be comprehensively decided according to the product design requirements, cost consideration and environmental protection requirements.

The selection of mold materials is directly related to the service life and production efficiency. For the large injection mold of the shell, it is recommended to use alloy steel with high strength, high wear resistance and high heat resistance, such as P20, H13, etc., to ensure that the mold can still maintain stable dimensional accuracy and surface quality under high temperature and high pressure environment.

The design of the classification surface should ensure that the plastic parts can die smoothly and avoid defects such as flying edge and shrinkage hole. For the plastic shell of the shredder, the classification surface is usually selected at the maximum section of the product or the structural turn, and try our best to coordinate the classification line with the product function and appearance requirements.

Reasonable pouring system is the key to ensure the plastic melt. For large injection Molds , multi-point injection or hot flow channel system should be adopted to improve the melt flow efficiency, reduce flow resistance and avoid defects such as fusion marks and shrinkage holes.

The rationality of the cooling system design directly affects the cooling speed and the deformation degree of the plastic parts. For the shell of the shredder, sufficient cooling water channel should be set to ensure that all parts of the mold cavity are cooled evenly. At the same time, the dynamic temperature control technology can be adopted to adjust the cooling water flow and temperature according to the shape and thickness of the plastic parts to further optimize the cooling effect. 

The design of the jacking mechanism should consider the uniform top output distribution, smooth jacking, and avoid deformation and scratches of plastic parts. For the shell of plastic parts, multi-point jacking or air jacking device can be used, combined with thimble, such as top block and other jacking methods, to ensure that the plastic parts can be smoothly removed and maintain a complete appearance and dimensional accuracy.

Mold manufacturing process includes processing, assembly, debugging and other links. In the machining process, the machining accuracy and surface quality should be strictly controlled; in the assembly process, the parts should be closely coordinated and flexible; during the commissioning process, the process parameters and mold structure should be continuously optimized to ensure that the mold can produce qualified products stably and efficiently. 

The maintenance of mold is crucial to extend the service life of mold and improve the production efficiency. The mold should be cleaned, lubricating and inspected regularly to find and handle potential problems in time; meanwhile, mold files should be established to record the usage and maintenance history of mold to provide the basis for the improvement and optimization of mold.
